Why I became a coach

In 2008, I had a defining life moment.   It was when I first came across the phrase ‘life coach’ and I realised that this was the path I had been waiting for all my life.   It summed up all my skills, from my teaching experience to my energy healing work, to my interest in everything to do with helping people and my infinite patience and listening skills.  It was a perfect fit!  I embarked on a training course as soon as I could and qualified the next year.

I absolutely love and am passionate about Life Coaching.  Everyone benefits from stopping for a while to examine thought patterns, attitudes, and limiting beliefs that no longer serve (if they ever did!).

The beauty of Life Coaching is that I work on myself at the same time as helping others.  It is so satisfying to see shifts in behaviour and understanding. I watch as people realise profound truths about themselves and how they easily change things for the better to lead a more balanced life.  Very often, major shifts occur within the first session as the reality of the client’s situation is revealed to them and they can let go of directions that are no longer relevant and can us that energy to move in a different direction.

We are not our thoughts.  Our thought patterns are laid down in our formative years; before the age of 7.  At 7, we see that we are not the centre but that there is a world around us.   These thought patterns or habits colour our lives and bring us experiences as a result.  As these change, so our life experience change.  The effect can be quite magical.

I have a wide variety of different clients, from teenagers with anxiety and exam stress to University students needing some guidance through their revision and study planning, to people returning to work after children or illness, to people who have become stale and need the energy and help to take a new direction.

I love to coach, I love to help people to live more rewarding and fulfilled lives; to support them to make the changes they desire.  Call me now, I’d love to help you!

Coaching can:

  • Help shift limiting beliefs
  • Shift past traumas
  • Help you to rethink your life path, evaluating your priorities and your expectations.
  • Help you to realise what is achievable and what you can leave behind.
  • Help you to GO FOR IT!
